You don't have to have HDTV to view HD broadcast, but you do need an HDTV. You can simply go to the store and buy a 20 dollar antenna and you should pick up free HDTV channels in your area.
I have an HDTV but my current satellite package does not include HD channels. If I change my package at all it will be very expensive because they've
jacked up the prices since we first subscribed, it would be like an extra $30 a month to get 10 more channels. And aren't antennas becoming obsolete?
