However, if you look at it again, you'll realize is that all she's saying is he won't be spending the entire rest of his life with her. And since that was said in 1998 or whenever, it is still possible he'll be spending his entire life with her MINUS 6 years...if that makes sense.
I agree 100% with this analysis. I love Lost because it is not cheezy, BUT there is no way in holy heck they are not going to be reunited. My only fear is that they cannot be on the island because Ben said he is going to find her and kill her. Obviously since Ben is coming and going from the island, she would not be there
