Oo, you can't be serious! :p I dunno why you'd trust Amanda's word on that, especially considering how delusional she is. She actually thinks being "nice" is the reason why she lost (both times). That's ludicrousI'm only partly serious. I'm just responding to the FEW vocal haters of Alexis. Most of the sucksters are indifferent to her. Why ? Because of her sucky edit. And that's fine. But to hate on her just because she didn't take kindly to Probst's taunting about the milk and cookies ? And just because she was screwed in the edited Ponderosa Insider videos after her exit ? And here is a player willing to stay in the game despite injuring her knee (unlike Jeff Wilson) and she gets ZERO credit in the edit and ZERO credit on the boards. That's terrible.
As for Cirie, Amanda may be delusional about Cirie's game moves but she's right on with Cirie's popularity being overstated by the edit she got and the credit she gets. There were several reports of EI players unhappy with Cirie and the positive edit she got. And I would say that Amanda and Erik are two Micronesia players who don't particularly like her either.
Here's a repost of mine from the Edgic thread.
Let me also congratulate Cirie for being the best player ever to have played this game.
I will acknowledge that Cirie was a favourite of the editors, but she is hardly the best player ever. Come on now. We had to suffer thru the Cirie fantards making their "mark" in this thread, but Cirie's main strategy was very simple in each season. First, get in the majority alliance during the competing tribes stage, thus protecting a weak challenge player. Then use that "weak in challenges" fact to cruise to the endgame while bigger challenge "threats" are taken out. Cire was not taken seriously as a threat since all of the players knew that she could be taken out at any time. And lo and behold, Cirie is taken out before reaching the F2 in each season.
Did Cirie make some good game moves ? Yep. And we were shown every last one of them. Why ? Because she was a fan favourite and she didn't win in either season, so there was no need to hide her moves. Frankly, I'd be hard-pressed to put Cirie in the top 15 of "best players of all time".
WORD WORD WORD.
