Has anybody ever noticed something weird and creepy with Joel's boot?

When they have the voting confessionals explaining the blah-blah-blah of who they voted for, Jeff normally is just facing the other survivors at TC, away from the voting confessional and camera, but in Colleen & Gregs voting confessional, he is looking directly at them/the camera.

I just found it weird.
