On paper this probably sounded like a good idea, but it just doesn't work. The simplicity and the beauty of the song just goes away. Love Ann and Nancy Wilson, but I really don't like their rendition.

Carly is such a frustrating Idol contestant because she technically had all the makings of a star except...."it". Every performance of hers was underwhelming, and this epitomizes it - it started too low, so it never really went anywhere because where the power notes were supposed to be the song was sitting comfortably in her throat and it was just....ok.
