You need to have BOTH interesting personalities and good gameplay.
I for one, was glad they cast Jonathan. He wasn't one of my favs in his season but I thought he was fun and a bit conniving. Even if it wasn't brilliant.
And even though I didn't understand the casting of Parvati, in the long run, I'd say it was a good move. Those girls made the end game a lot of fun.
An entire cast of Brian Heidek's (who had both game play and personality) would get kind of boring. There needs to be a mix.
I was glad Parv won and I don't understand how anyone can think of her as Ambuh 2.0. Amber's entire game was to ride on Rob's coattails. She never made any moves without him. Parv did things and made moves without Cirie and Amanda. Parvati deserved her win and worked for it. Amber not so much.
