I didn't truly start hating him until the post-season bullshit started.

That opening ep was one of the best first eps, maybe the very best, and mostly due to Rupie. His duel with Osten holding the ropes was awesome. I always thought he was a big old guy, kinda out of his element, and I affirmatively rooted for him.

Then came the roar and the sanctimonious Rupie that we know now, first appearing at the reunion.

This was a good guy ruined by mediawhoredom.
