I think you're misreading it. I believe the blindsiding refers to Ozzy (and his pent up emotions that explode at FTC over how he was voted out), not the "favorite who reaches her breaking point," which we assume is Amanda. But they could've worded it better to avoid any confusion over who they meant by "blindside."
