That has to be it. Eric shows everyone the idol and says he is obviously going to play it because it is F5 and he may as well. Nat or whoever is the target, so after votes are cast, he gives it to them to save her but they all voted for Erik according to the plan. Erik gone. Or Erik chickens out at the last second and whoever Erik voted for that doesn't have immunity necklace is gone.
