Mostly broken people who need something to make them whole. Some liken it to a belief in god but the belief in socialistic communities and global warming are drawn from the same cloth.
Take the religious nut who manipulates people with the promise of eternal life, the ex Vice president who lay's out a theory of climate change danger, and the world leader than speaks of the government satisfying all the peoples needs. All promise a better life through sacrifice and obedience yet all those leaders are telling the same lie. Only one of them speaks the truth. Your job is to decide what cult you follow based on how narrow your mind is.
