Well, I admit that I've watched a few episodes of "Hey, Paula" (such a good trainwreck), and it does seem plausible that her problems stem from a
sleeping disorder along with her intake of pain medication.
Now for some medical speculation:
The years of bulimia could have given her a few aneurysms that could be affecting Broca's area.
Broca's aphasia is characterized by slow, labored, halting, slurred strings of words. Is that Paula or what? Booyeah! Of course, the condition is also characterized by a lack of grammar - Paula has at least second-grade-level grammer, so I'd say she has a subclinical case of Broca's aphasia.
Whatever's responsible for her speech, she better not try to fix it and suck all the entertainment out of the show.
Love ya, crazy bitch.
