I'll just pick my best and worst. I thought it was a very good night overall. The two best people last week were the worst this week. 1. David Hernandez- Best of the night. He belongs in the top twelve. 9. Fidel's Grandson- Terrible Andy Gibb song (actually, ALL Andy Gibb songs are); flat voice, mediocre performance overall. 10. Michael Johns- Harsh and unpleasant vocals. Vastly worse than anything he did before. It's still early, but seeing this reminded me of Tamyra's first performance on top 4 night when she was voted off and Katherine McPhee's deservedly bottom two screech on top 10 night two years ago. I'm sure he'll survive, but he's thrown away his frontrunner status. I think Jason Yeager and Luke Menard both did pretty well, but are probably gone tomorrow. They weren't heard before last week, weren't good last week and the judges just don't like them. Two good singers have offstage problems: David Cook (egomania) and Danny (incredibly gay speaking voice that even tweens who think he's cute will pick up on).
