I never understood why anyone would consider her a great player
No other winner managed to turn a situation where they were #5 in an failing alliance and turn it around with 1 boot (Mitchell's) to become the leader
of that alliance, making it stronger in the process.
Silas did something similar in Samburu by voting out Carl but his method finished the destruction of the tribe. BostonRob did the same when he booted Hunter.
Only the switch saved Maraamu but booting Hunter came back to bite Rob when Gina told Kathy all about him. Neither came close to winning. Maybe because of
that, many players at the bottom of the pecking order accept their position: Denise, Sundra, Caryn, Jan, etc...
Chris and Danni weren't part of the ruling alliance so they had to shake things up. Their gameplay deserves credit but not for the same reason. Jenna and
Sandra had been in the ruling alliance only to see it slip through their fingers, coming back mainly by luck. Vee never took any risks, she really only
followed the lead of others.
The ones that come closest to what Tina did are Kathy/Neleh, Cesternino and Twila. Those 4 made their big move post-merge, using players from different
alliances. Look how their actions hurt Neleh and Twila in front of the jury. Cesternino worried about how the jury would perceive him. That worry caused his
fatal mistake when it came time to decide who he should go to the end with. Along with Tina, only Kathy didn't have to worry about the jury's
perception. As it were, Kathy would be considered very highly, and rightly so, had she won. Tina deserves the same high rating.
