What a crock. Im pissed! Burke leaves Christina? Meredith dumps Derrick?!? Why because Christina didn't get a happy ending. GD this show. Izzy is a fuckin love sick puppy most of the season since Denny died and now she loves George after a night of drunken forgetable sex. Don't get me too wrong here I still love this show but this season finale was not all that I hoped it would be. Just ONE little happy ending would have made me feel a hell of a lot better. BAH!

Is the finale going to be repeated again before next season (they always show the finale before the premiere)? I manually taped from 9-10 not knowing that it would go over (I didn't peek or anything and just watched CSI) and auto. took the tape out at 10 and then watched ER.
I went back to watch later on and it clearly went over. |

That sucks that you only recorded it til 10 when it lasted til 10:15pm. I'm sure they'll repeat tomorrow night or it will be online.

Loved, loved, loved it. Burke goes buh bye for good. Now Shonda has re-earned my respect. She said they came to a resolution after his 2 "incidents" & I thought it was only to send him to rehab. He's gone now & it was a clever way for him to go. Although, I must say his vows about fixing hearts had me weepy.
Sandra Oh = OMG! From no eyebrows to getting cut out of her dress.......sheer perfection. "I'm FREE!" Bwwwaaaaahhhhh! I guess I'm most upset about George. Whatever will become of him? I hope he repeats his surgical internship. I'd like to have at least one of our old gang mix in with the new batch of innocents so a few of those characters can slide in & we can watch their fuck ups & hook ups. The one character who has grown the most is Alex. He went from dog last year to decent guy at the finale. |

Okay, so I think I had some different views on this episode....like is Burke really leaving Seattle Grace? I thought he just left Christina. I loved all of the Burke/Christina storyline! And Christina saying "I'm Free" and then freaking out to me was that she got what she thought she wanted...only to realize that she didn't.
Then for Mereidth/Derek...did she dump him? I didn't think that. I just thought she was still pissed at him...and rightly so. He's been an ass for the last few episodes. Christina's eyebrows - best part of the night!! Loved it! |

The point of these finales are to give you just enough resolution to satisfy you...but still leave you waiting religiously for next season's premiere. And Greys did just that.

I know the Sandra Oh scene was supposed to be phenomenal and all that, but I didn't get it.
Was she relieved? I thought so with the "I'm free" thing...but then she started feeling suffocated which made me think she was grieving. I was confused, which makes me think it wasn't that great of an acting job. I did not feel what she was feeling. I totally felt what Burke was feeling. It's so sad that everybody wants him gone over the TR incident. I enjoy his character and last night, he had me in tears. Addison spoke for me as well as every other woman in that OR. I like Burke's character and I hope he stays. I felt horrible that Callie got Chief Rez over Bailey. I don't see how that was earned at all. I'm a bit pissed that Mer got to retake her test and passed, but George failed. Probably because he spent the whole time fretting over Mer. Then again, everything is about her..even George's failure. And why, oh why couldn't they have done something with her hair for the wedding? It looked as stringy as usual. |

Her scene with the Chief though certainly began to lead up to it though. The chief telling her she needed to get a life was probably the last straw  I can't wait to see what happens with the Lexie/Shepard/Meredith storylilne next season though. THAT is going to be interesting. Meredith is going to have a stroke if Shepard and Lexie hook up and then she finds out she is related to her

I kind of hope McDreamy gets with Lexie...she seems infinitely less annoying than Meredith, and 2000x hotter.
A surefire way to hook your male audience is to live out their fantasy of dating your exes younger, hotter sister. In reality, I just want Lexie to have a big part, because she was a bonafide cutie. |

Can someone tell me what happened at the wedding. My DVR messed up and I lost 8 minutes of crucial recording THE WEDDING SCENE... It picked up recording again right at the apartment scene, which was awesome! somebody fill me in please!

I love Chyler Leigh so I'm glad she wasn't just some chick in a bar.
I don't really like Meredith but I hate Derek and he's been an ass for the past couple of episodes. If he loved Meredith the way Meredith was and not the way he wanted her to be he wouldn't be continually bitching about her and trying to force her to change. Does anyone else think Callie is going to get pregnant, they're going to be happy for a little bit but then she finds out about George and Izzie and dumps George's ass telling him she doesn't need him? |
