Next episode the Galu plan is obviously to get rid of Russell. Russell wins individual immunity so the plan switches to Jaison. Russell finds the hidden
immunity idol again. He gives Jaison the hidden immunity to play at tribal council and after receiving all the Galu votes, Jaison plays the idol and foa foa
knocks out Laura.

For Foa to continue their big underdog comeback - Natalie - Mick - Russell - Jaison have to stay tight and keep their 4 votes the same.
That has been the biggest difference between Galu and Foa Foa - Foa sticks together - Galu cracks. |

I'm sensing a simple scenario up ahead.
Thanks to his hustling last episode, Russell had 6 solid votes against Laura going into the IC: the Foa Foa 4 plus Shambo and John. We know that John was dismayed by the Erik boot, which he will clearly perceive as a power move by the person he's most afraid of in the game (how dare she target someone on Galu, and a man at that!) So I imagine that John will be more motivated than ever to go after Laura. And we know that Shambo will always be happy to write down Laura's name. So at this point, this group of 6 has all the votes it needs to take care of Laura. But the editors will spend the entire episode trying to make it look like Russell absolutely, positively MUST win immunity or go home, while the reality is that Laura is the one who desperately but unknowingly needs immunity, just as she needed it last time. My guess is that the episode's edit will be dictated by the fact that Russell ultimately gets immunity, either by winning it or by finding a new idol, while Laura does not. So even though Russell is probably perfectly safe the whole time, the editors will pretend otherwise and hype it nonstop. The Laura boot could be just like what happened on Tocantins when Joe was medevaced. Brendan was all set to go home at the TC that never happened because of the evac. So the following episode, the editors spent all kinds of time trying to disguise the fact that Brendan was still target #1. And sure enough, Brendan went home in an orderly vote carefully split 4-3 to set up Sierra for a possible bounce. At this point, the only mystery to me is how the editors will try to convince us that Laura has the votes to get rid of Russell. I'm thinking that John will lie to her about his plans and the editors will try to sell us that lie. |

For some reason, I'm not completely convinced that it is Laura that will be going home. Would Natalie really risk pissing off the girls
(Laura/Monica/Kelly) who she seems to have bonds with, especially if she wants to have the votes to win? And, Missyae did say that the "girl from Arkansas
is getting ready to make her move" and I don't think getting rid of Laura (who everyone was already targeting) would be considered a big move on her
part. I would think that blindsiding someone like John or even Dave would be a bigger move on Natalie's part. Yet, it could just as well be Laura going
home, since everyone was planning to vote her out last time.

I think the best move for Natalie would have been to jump to the girls of Foa Foa but thats not what happened. Last week she simply did as she was asked to do.
Now if she ends up winning - I guess she has made the best moves for herself. If she does not end up winning - maybe she should have done the all girl thingy
afterall. As far as editing goes - we saw what they wanted us to see last week - Natalie making a move. I bet Erik is thinking now he should have have joined
up with the other hidden idol instead of wanting to get rid of it. Usually CBS overhypes what is going to happen but I think this week might end up being the
real deal. This is eppy 9 - right?

I don't know if this is asking too much, but is SurvivorFever on the right track with their predictions for this episode (John and Jaison being vulnerable,
everyone else being safe)? As well, you mentioned earlier that TDT was steering us in the right direction, did you mean for the Eric boot or for the basic jury
placement (Laura, Shambo, and Kelly being late jury, Dave and Brett being mid-late jury, and Monica, John, and Jaison filling in the cracks)?
