My mom hated it though because all she watches is Supernatural, so she didn't "get" why it was funny. I feel bad for her, because they did an amazing job parodying everything.

The only thing I would have added was a cartoon or a documentary style show like The Office or Modern Family

So this season they are making friends (ie the little boy, Gabriel) that are all gonna come together in the end and help them kill Lucifer? Love it!

The best thing about this episode was that it was great comic relief and started out as though it was just a MOTW episode and then it ended in a progression of the major storyline involving the apocalypse. I like they way they are developing it with Dean & Sam fighting just being the vessels and trying to recruit their own army to try and stop this thing. Personally, I'd love it if they can drag out the ultimate outcome for another season. I really am going to miss this show if they end it after this season. They must find a way to stretch it out at least one more season. And the idea that they will continue the show with new hunters? Sorry, but I cannot see that ever catching on. Supernatural without Jensen and Jared just won't fly, IMO.

That's a great idea...they could easily stretch out the apocalypse into mutliple seasons with the MOTW episodes as filler, easily. I would love if they did that actually! And it wouldn't be a plot hole, since they said the apocalypse was going to happen in a few years anyways.

"Zactly!� On the comedy side of things, I hope you all have seen one of the Horatio Caine reels of his opening act oneliner compilations such as this: I wish they could've gotten the real Who intro to play though.� I guess the doctor sequence was a shot across the bow of Grey's Anatomy? One the advancement of the overall story, I loved the Trickster being Gabriel.� The whole business of why he singled them out for such special interest makes perfect sense.� Plus we got a reference to the Book of Winchester-class regard in which the angles hold the boys.� And and best as I can remember, the Trickster's th e only recurring MOW. I wonder it that was an intentional payoff from his first ep with the poor guy slow dancing to the space alien to Lady in Red or if they cobbled it together seasons later.
