Just throwing out that it's actually not true that Parvati started them using quotes from castaways as episode titles. I remember episode 3 of Guatemala,
"The Brave may not live long, but the Cautious don't live at all" was an exact quote by Brandon Bellinger shown on the episode. Also, "Would
you be my Brutus today?" was a quote said by Sandra, that just was cut from the show in Pearl Islands. And I'm pretty sure the first castaway to have
an episode titled after a quote they said ON the show was Richard Hatch in All-Stars in episode 5, with his "I've been bamboozled!!" quote being
the episode title.

I didn't think this season was so bad until the end. 3 out of the 4 people in the final 4 had no business being cast (Sundra, Becky, Yul) because they were
so boring....and Ozzy is just annoying. I saw that porn he was in that was posted here....ew, he's uncut. That's just nasty, and he should get that
fixed so I could MAYBE enjoy that porn.
The worst part of the season was the damn HII. The fact that you could play it before a vote is the only reason Yul one. There was 0% strategy in season 13...it was all that damn idol. I guess if someone cool found it, the season wouldn't have been so bad...but instead the boring, ugly, asian dude wins. Asians are sexy, how the hell did the only ugly one win? How could someone this boring be cast on the show? Becky and Sundra were equally as boring as Yul. I can't believe they were cast either. The worst part is that they were going to do the race this AGAIN in Fiji til Melissa quit. Meh, it's not like Fiji could have gotten any worse. Oh yeah....and Yul's racist. Remember when he said he was glad the winner would be a person of color?....RACIST!!!! Racist, ugly, tiny dicked freak who never should have been cast. Fuck Yul in every way but sexually. I wouldn't wanna touch that shit.

I liked Yul pre-merge but he lost me later on. Penner was alright, but the season as a whole sucked because nobody besides Yul had even a fragment of a brain.
If they did, he never would have won. I must admit I liked Fiji better, probably because my expectations were low going into it due to CI, so I didn't mind
watching Ravu get its ass kicked every single week. CI was truly the season that killed Survivor, because unique, organic strategy was still being developed in
the four seasons prior (Chris and Danni winning from the minority, failed women's alliance, Cirie's 3-2-1), but the race casting and pointless twists
stunted this development. It also was the first cast composed almost entirely of numbskull recruits. Not to mention a lot of sponsors and a good portion of the
fanbase were repulsed by race casting and never returned.

The Cook Islands top 10:
10. Candice breaking down after being sent to Exile Island again by her "friends" 9. Candice and Jonathan mutinying 8. Cao Boi and Flicka failing to make "plan voodoo" come into fruition 7. Candice's rant about Jonathan being a rat 6. Jeff's awkward comment about Adam by saying to Candice "true love would've given you that necklace" 5. Parvati with Yul and Ozzy in the hot tub 4. Stephannie sealing her fate by proclaiming she wants mashed potatoes 3. Flicka "screwing with" Jonathan's chickens 2. Becky and Sundra seriously failing at the firebuilding final 4 tiebreaker and.. the most amazing moment in Cook Islands... 1. Billy proclaiming his love for Candice at tribal council But... other than that, the season pretty much sucked. |
