Why couldn't Esther just been an evil kid for no reason? The twist was just dumb.

I was really digging Orphan until the ridiculous twist and finale.

I wanted Esther to be an evil kid, too.
The late plot twist was just ridiculous. |

Put me in the unenthused by Paranormal Activity category. Sure, there were a couple creepy parts but it wasn't like terrifying or all that entertaining til
the last 15 or 20 minutes...

I finally saw Otis. That was fun. They did a great job on the revenge scene. The smoothie was a great idea.

I'm currently watching Dawn of the Dead, 2004 remake. God I love this movie. Best. Remake. Ever.

I just saw "Trick 'r Treat" and, um, what the hell did I just watch?
The 8 kids story would've made an AWESOME movie. Instead, they had to fill it up with more bullshit than an episode of Family Guy. I can't even tell you what the movie was about.

I liked it. Sure, the school bus story was probably the best part but has Yeaster never seen an anthology horror movie?

I would love, more than anything, to be in love with this film. But I just can't. I now understand why it was almost shelved. I liked it. Sure, the school bus story was probably the best part but has Yeaster never seen an anthology horror movie?Yes. I've also seen plenty of great horror films and this was in no way, shape or form, one of them. The movie introduced a number of great ideas, but none of them were expanded upon, imo. There was no cohesion, there was no backstory, there was no clear transition between the storylines, there wasn't a single interesting character, there was nothing. The movie was well shot, but it just didn't work for me. I don't know what the critics saw. |

I said anthology for a reason, Yeaster.
The stories don't have to be connected. The fact that they existed in the same universe and overlapped at times was actually a treat for a lot of viewers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was amazing or anything, just that I thought it was fun and I enjoyed it more than a lot of other horror movies I've seen in recent years. |

They don't have to be connected. They just have to make sense. >.>
But I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't like it, so....yeah. |

It was like an r-rated Goosebumps episode with all the twists, but I liked it.
