Was Cook Islands a great season or not?

Them going against the odds, fighting off 8 people on the other tribe remaining itself was epic <3 probably impossible to see again in survivor history. On top of that, Yul's amazing use of HII made the show even more amazing. Cook Islands <3 (btw,don't derogate Yul's strategy for using the HII. Yul was the one who changed the rule of using HII for using it so fabulous at the right moment. Sadly, Terry didn't in S12. It's not something anyone can do)

It was like, "Oh no, Candice and Jonathan betrayed... four generically nice people?" In my mind, Candice and Jonathan were the more complex and compelling characters that season, and I actually wanted Raro to dominate.

But Candice mutinied b/c she was more tight with Adam, and Jonathan did b/c Candice did. He said he regretted his actions. It's not the problem of Aitu 4. Along with that, had Raro domitated, I would've hang myself to see Adumb going to the final 4 (pretty much) or more than that. He doesn't worth it. Only the brainy player on the Raro side was Candice(&Jonathan.. but he didn't seem to have a chance of winning that time, he was on the out) and the only player on Raro I would gratefully agree upon winning would be Candice.

And I would much rather have Candice/Jonathan/Parvati/Nate in the finale with him over the aitu 4 (all of whom are much worse in every way than the 4 raros i just mentioned). And Candice probably would have won in that situation anyway so you would 'gratefully' (lol) agree with the outcome. I will never understand people who are ok with the travesty that were the aitu 4 O_O

Cao Boi was great though.

Ozzy caused entertaining moments in Micronesia but it was awful watching him in Cook Islands. Yet I still like the season. It's not nearly as bad as Thailand, Fiji or Africa.

Just because Jonathan was amazing, Parvati was pretty good and Ozzy won a bunch of challenges doesn't mean that right off the bat 12 of the people brought absolutely nothing to the table, more than any other season. Doesn't change the fact that the winner was immune the entire game due to something he dug up that 18 other players in the game never even had a shot at getting. I don't know about you, but watching someone win Survivor while being immune the entire game when 90% of the cast didn't even have the opportunity to get that benefit makes it a complete throwaway of a season even disregarding all the other huge faults.
