Please, the racial quotas had nothing to do with why Cook Islands and Fiji were sub-par. The casting did suck, but not because there were five members of each race, but because they picked the blandest models and actors from Los Angeles. Literally 2/3 of both casts were from Southern California. That's not diversity. If they had chosen to pick interesting people from diverse backgrounds and ages as well as skin color, I would have been all for it. As it stands, a bunch of twenty-something aspiring entertainers just weren't that interesting to watch, regardless of their race.
