There must be a connection coming soon between Dave - John - Russell. According to sources who should know - if John - Dave - or Shambo do not vote for The Evil One to win - he will probably be pretty surprised. So to me that sounds like they must have gotten along okay? You guys will probably figure it out from watching the show. Looks like TDT has you guys covered pretty nicely. well, i know missyae's wrong with russell not playing the idol, but to give missyae the benefit of doubt, missyae did make that assumption based along the given line "might as well play it"... which russell did say prior to using the idol.. it might be a wrong assumption at missyae's part, but at least we know how that info came about..

(heck, even jaison got a lil strategy going on tonight.) natalie on the other hand, is edgically poor, but praised several times in jeff's blog, and showed some gameplay and given random positive scenes.. i don't think i'll be surprised if natalie wins, with russell a close second (or vice versa), while mick gets 3rd with one or no votes. (a reverse from previous editing trends) or if mick does win, it is no wonder there isn't much hype about the winner. cause it is mick

She didn't say who it was, but when people were saying how no one would vote for Russell, she said John, Dave, and Shambo are likely to have voted for him. That makes me think that they're the only three, because she might've said if there were more. Edgically, it seems like Natalie will get the votes of the other three girls. If she has a pretty good idea of who wins, it's probably not Mick since (if everything is correct so far) he would need all of the other three to tie, and that wouldn't give anyone a good idea as to who wins. Since Missy only mentions three Russell votes, the way she said it made it seem like that was all he had, which would mean Natalie wins. I'd be very happy with that.

After watching the show I can see how that statement was made to me though. People out there heard the comment about \'might as well play it since you all know\' but everyone on this board knows he thought he had to play it or he wouldnt have done it. So that was him trying to save face and it was a poor acting job to say the least. I had actually thought maybe the idol would be used to save himself and therefore cause Jaison to leave. Guess the answer to what happens there is pretty simple to figure out. That gal from Arkansas is making her move.

Not the 1880s) Mick is invisible and definitely has the lowest IQ for a doctor that's ever played survivor. Sick and tired of his beta male attitude. Probably has a small package. Brett is a five year old boy trapped in a 12 year olds body. Can he talk yet? Natalie has actually turned out to be the best player this season and that's as bad as it gets. Even Fiji had Yao man. I thought Survivor had jumped the shark after fiji but then seasons 15 and 16 were the best since Pearl Islands. Hopefully 20 will be good and Survivor can end on a high note. Wow. This cast is not THAT bad. John: I agree. Russel: He definitely had some missteps at tribal, but he single handedly created the mess that got Erik booted. He said it himself. Swing enough, you're bound to hit a home run. If not for his meddling, Foa Foa would have been pagonged. He's basically stirring the pot, and inadvertently causing everyone to not trust anyone. When you're down in numbers and can't grab a solid alliance, this seems to me to be the next best bet. And even though it was a poor move to say "I'll ally with anyone up here," he's basically thrown a big "This is anyone's game" comment out there way before it usually becomes an individual game. Not a perfect player, but a very good player, and a mix of good and bad moves this week. Jaison: Floating in and out of potential. Mick: Pulling out the Ethan card, and so far has not had his name written down once. That's not poor strategy. It's what works for him. Who, me? No one is even paying attention to him, which puts him right where he needs to be. Natalie: Deserves some major kudos. Still more to be seen of her, but tell me she doesn't remind you of a younger Tina. Smart, strategic, quiet and invisible when she need to be.

He used the idol wisely to set up a Laura fall, and he had all his ducks lined up on that. Until Laura went and won immunity. At that point, Russell's idol was pretty much burned and with all the insanity at camp, he absolutely had to play the idol, no question about it. But Russell was not about to give his competitors the satisfaction of seeing him humbled. So even though his idol was being flushed out, he struck this nonchalant position of "I might as well play it." Perhaps without Russell realizing it, since we have no evidence that he knew about Erik's idol, that move may have very well prevented Erik from playing his own idol. When Russell played his idol, Erik got the signal that his plan was still on track: the Foa Foa 3 had in fact told Russell Galu was coming after him. So Erik assumed the rest of his plan also worked, and that removed any reason for him to be nervous for himself. Of course, it's possible Erik was so overconfident, he still wouldn't have played his own idol, had Russell sat on his. But Russell's move fed nicely into that overconfidence. Ironically, missyae, your misinterpretation of "might as well play it" is making me think that your source isn't in fact close to Russell. 'Cause what you got is the version Russell put out for the world to see, not what was really going on in his head.

What show are you watching, Mrs. Russhole ? Russhole thought he could trick Laura but she quite accurately called him on his bullshit proposal. Then he got pissed off and tried to make F2 deals with pretty much everyone. He had NO PART in the blindside of Dumbass Erik and he played the idol because he was afraid of being voted off at TC. And that's it.

Jesus... gosh, that's so tough. John? Maybe? I gotta go with John. I think everyone is kinda playing a little bit different game. See, Laura was playing a good game but she was wrong. She made a mistake and got a little greedy and got a little pompous. I can't really say Russell, because he's aggressive but he looks like a total idiot when he comes to our tribe. He came over to us and he shows 8 different people the idol and makes promises to everybody and I thought his game play sucked. Oh, wait no! Natalie. She's protecting herself as a lone wolf, only woman on Foa Foa. She's really tight with a guy who's mowing people down and at this point in the game she concocted the idea to get me out and I think she's responsible for making the biggest move in the game. I stand corrected, it's Natalie 100%. Probably Erik doesn't vote for Russell to win, and might vote for Natalie? Of course he's saying this after the game.

ETA: Because if that's from a recent interview, after the show started airing, I could see why he'd see Natalie as more strategic, and know about Russell showing everyone the idol. But from his day-after quotes, he seems to credit Russell with getting him booted, all of which makes me think he'd vote for Russell instead of Natalie. So I stick by my impression that giving Natalie credit is hindsight. I still think that at the time, he believed it was Russell who engineered his boot ("This is for you, Russell" while raising a beer in the Ponderosa video). And it seems like he'd respect him for that, so I fear he may have voted for Russell.
