Julie couldn't even beat FatChris. Eliza only won because Ami slipped a few times in the last round and Eliza was close enough to catch her. Julie and Chris were not even close to Eliza and Ami.

And considering she's great at swimming, I don't think she would have done as poorly as you suggested.

They haven't had many swimming challenges yet (can't even recall one other than going to get the crates), but she said before the show her strength was swimming because she grew up doing it. She also said that she did a great job in the challenge that she single-handedly lost for her tribe, so she's clearly not the most self-aware person in the world. ETA- thanks Ken.
