I continue to be astounded that all the women in this show, almost without exception, are unbelievably good looking... It's like a crazy alt. universe...
Oh... wait... |

I loved loved loved this ep.
SN at its best: early jokes including a whoopee cushion, and then WHAM things get bad. WTF with Sam being all hang dog about his decision? The sooner we get past that sensiness, the better. Still: Cas the killer of a young innocent? I don't think so. Even he had to suspect that would not happen. Lurved the little Jesse. Ozzie ozzie oy! |

Do you think this kid shows up on the finale or just before during a big showdown (Between Good and Evil) and each side will have to be "selling"
themselves so that the kid will join them? Could this kid be what Sam and Dean need to beat lucifer so that Dean does not need to become a "meat
suit".

Ugh, I hated it. Not enough Dean. No Dean = no good!

I hated it too! I think it's the first episode of Supernatural I was like "..." afterwards. Just blah. No opinion whatsoever. Sad, too.
Could've done a lot with it. Next week looks glorious, however.

yeah that was a wasted opportunity to have some fun.
I loved how the geezer Dean mimicked the real one so well though -- at one point I was thinking, is that makeup? Plus the plot didn't make all that much sense -- why was the cute chick so ready to betray the Irish bastard? I know it had something to do with the locket, but had she traded her daughter's years for her own or something? And what's with the dismissive "he-witch" terminonology? And why did Dean like him like the Trickster? Urgh. Oh well. "Stay classy." |

Piranhahaha wrote:It's because she has outlived her daughter and watched her daughter grow old and die. Sounded like she has been traveling with this guy for decades and wanted it to be over. Although, IMO, I don't know why she would care anymore since her own daughter is already dead and gone and obviously she had to leave her family behind decades ago. Why would she have this conscious now? Oh well. It was an okay episode, definitely the weakest of the "halloween" episodes and even though the old actor did a great job as old Dean, for me Dean makes the show and it was too long to go without the real Dean. Sammy just can't carry an episode alone like Dean can, for me. The only other disappointment for me was that I was hoping that Sammy would end up winning back the 50 years for Dean, plus another 5 years for Bobby to get poor Bobby out of that chair. The Bobby/Dean scenes were the best in the episode, though. Bobby makes such a great father figure for Dean. |

I was hoping for Bobby to get out of the stupid chair, too, cause he's my secret soul mate. |

"Pound it up your ass, Ironside."
"Killing you is officially on my Bucket List, Bobby." omg that graveside convo between Bobby and Dean had me howling with laughter. Fuck it, I loved this episode. |

This season is haning on the apocalypse and suddenly it's Monster of the Week again?
But yeah, hobbled Bobby messing with elderly Dean? Wonderful. |

Du.de, they have atleast 16 more episodes to go. Lots of time to get back to the action.
Jeez. |

So we're sure it's the last season, huh?! Ratings are still good...and TVD (which is total SHIT) and Supernatural make a great time block. I am
enjoying the break from the apocalypse...I love monster of the week episodes. I read in an article online that Jensen and Jared's contracts go through 6,
but it's all about if the CW wants to continue that or not. It's ratings are still some of the best on the CW--so I wouldn't mind.
Kripke also talked about maybe kind of doing a spin off if he had to do another couple seasons--I bet with new hunters or something. That would totally SUCK and should not be called supernatural. |

Well, the boys have got the end of civilization as we know it now in its active phase... and they're taking time off to deal with some Irish bastard
playing poker?
I dunno know, maybe that's their idea of a vacation? Now is NOT the time to go on vacation I guess I was anticipating a BSG-style epic multi-ep final battle. |
