I think Osten is even more of a likely candidate than Matt to have been on HGH/Roids before Survivor. Matt was well built but he didn't look like a freak until day 20 or so after his body became completely devoid of fat (skeletor man). Matt struck me as just a strange dude whereas Osten has the narcissistic/meathead personality type of most users.

What ever happened to that poster who was in love with Matthew? She had a whole site dedicated to him and I believe she had contact with him as well. She was a
nice SUCKS member... and for the life of me I cannot even remember her nic.
Oh and Matthew for ASS3... no. I'd rather see that annoying Rob C... again. Better yet I would like to see Peter Harkey, Roryry from Vanuatu, Debb Eaton, Robbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Z or Aaron (i.e. Dude Erin Dude?!) on ASS3

Anyhow I dunno that the guy was on 'roids. This after all is somebody who would wake up at 5am to study Swedish for some reason -- a restaurant re-design in Stockholm or something? He struck me as someone far too focused on his life to risk roid rage when he could just as easily hit the gym for an extra couple of hours per week. Which leads me to the explanation for his behavior. He overtrained for the game, was in peak condition on day 1, and failed to foresee that stored body fat actually comes in handy around day 20. Then again, maybe the guy's just authentically batshit crazy. |

That piranha gif is great.
I thought Matt was a good character. I love the machete honing clips, the kicking ass in weapons comps, and the panicked tribe mates, even if it was rather contrived. I'd trade most of the recent seasons for more of that. |

People have a misconception about steroids and those who use them. Perhaps it was just HGH? Maybe just extra testosterone? There are a good amount of people
with money who use these substances and they aren't muscle bound freaks. I can absolutely see somebody intelligent using substances to enhance themselves.
In fact, it totally fits the personality type.

I'm going by names I can roll off the top of my head. Since I haven't heard from Chicaguapa for quite some time, the only name I really could remember
was AMAI's.
Once the whole final-result thing blew over and the Jennabee-Matthead-Christyite wars subsided, there wasn't much of a need for the Jungle Paradise anymore. It was a safe haven for the Mattheads (and a handful of his fellow Amazon competitors) to talk about whatnot. I wouldn't recommend Matt for All-Stars for the simple reason that he doesn't need to go through this sort of bullshit again. |

Should you find it fun, here's nice tidbit from the night Jenna showed up on Sucks and while testing a new computer, it happened that I was the only one
online in Sucks Proper:
In retrospect, she states a good point: if you're going to play the naive card, you ought to let a powerbroker know that you aren't actually naive. Or maybe not: Earl the naive not only won but also got a helicopter shot. I wonder if her universe ever contemplated the UTR player, albeit a crazy UTR ritualistically sharpening his machete in the night while others sleep. Anyhow, I'd love to see the guy in ASS2. He was something of a cipher in the Amazon and I'd become the only male het Matthead just to see how he'd approach the modern game. |
