I think I read somewhere that they filmed 4 eps and if the ratings were good then they would start filming more. So not much can be done about the hiatus. Sucks.

With those #s, they should rethink that strategy. Last I heard, it was being yanked until MARCH after the Winter Olympics (airing this February on NBC). Bad, bad, bad, idea. They did it to Pushing Daisies, which started out as a massive hit if you'll recall. (Well, there was the writer's strike, but ABC could have brought it back ASAP if they wanted too.)
