Right. Plenty of people are named John but no one uses the nickname Jack anymore.
Similarly, I didn't think we'd ever see a Bob on this show. I assumed all the Roberts would go by Rob (or The General). |

Bob is for the older generation, Rob is for the younger generation, thus so far it makes sense.
Although I have no idea why any parents would name their kid Robert seing as nobody named Robert goes by that name. |
