It's pretty much now a CD I just let it run. No skip needed for me.
The only time I want to skip is to replay a song I love and run it in loop. |

I've been listening to it on my iPod non-stop this week, every bus ride to and from school. I don't skip any tracks either, not even "Undo
It" which is the only one I'm not really into.
I love "Quitter," do people not like it? I'm addicted to "Change," honestly the sentiment is so true. People think they can't change the world and therefore they don't bother but there are so many little things you can do to make this hell pit a better place. As soon as I finish school and hopefully have some disposable income I want to sponsor a child through World Vision. I wish I had the money to do it now, its something I've always wanted to do. |

Things like that inspire me as well. IMO, it better fucking be an IGB song as it actually fits the event perfectly. anything people do can help others
Quitter is a love it or hate it song from what I've read. I think more are loving it now. A lot complained at the beginning b/c Max Martin produced it so it just couldn't be a country songlol... |

Whatcha gonna do when you're watching tv
and an ad comes on, yeah you know the kind Flashing up pictures of a child in need For a dime a day you could save a life Do you call the number, reach out a hand Or do you change the channel, call it a scam Do you tell yourself... Just a fool... Addicted to that part. Such a beautiful song. |

I always change the channel.... is that bad?

Often I find those ads heart wrenching to watch just because I can't do anything about it as much as I want to. Even if you do pick up the phone and give
to one child it hurts to think about how many more there are out there still starving and dying.
The part about people calling it a scam rings particularly true though because there's a few of those organizations that have been rumored to be sketchy, most are legit though. |

I really have a feeling that this could pull around 400k. Carrie's sales are some of the least frontloaded in the industry and DHH underpredicted both SH
and CR. They were 125k under CR....

Wow IMO you are making a mistake. There are so many great songs on the album. Thing is, you hear them at first, and you say yeah they're really good, but
after a few listens they all grow on ya so that you realize they are amazing

Judging by the songs you mentioned liking (eraser) I think completing your album on iTunes would be worth it. I think you'd like it.

^ Me either.....
If it makes Dic feel any better, I didn't even bother ripping a song from Cuntry's CD. I don't listen to that crap anyways. :) And yeah, I really doubt Play On is gonna pull 400K, the highest it's showing to go is about 350 right now. And just because Cuntiville Ride was underestimated doesn't mean this one will be. The sales predictions and the name of the artist have NO CORRELATION PEOPLE! |

Dictatorship wrote:That part totally turned me off. Do you know how much of that money actually makes it to help the children? Average of a dime on the dollar. The rest goes for administrative fees. I downloaded temporary home and I'll call it good I think. 300,000 has to be low. Carrie is the golden child. She's got the best promo i've even seen an artist get right out the gate. Everything was aligned as perfect as it could be. There is no way she has fallen from grace that much. I know there is alot of talk of her being overexposed and some people are just sick of her but I think they are the minority. Personally I think the cd is subpar v her previous efforts (whoever said you can't judge a cd by the clips was right. I thought the cd was going to be quite excellent and better v carnival ride but for me it isn't) but carnival ride was subpar to me but she still managed to sell quite well. She will do 350,000 easily. |
