I think I'm going toget my husband a handgun and shooting lessons for Christmas. We have talked about how fun it would be to go to a shooting range and
shoot. I figure he can learn and teach me and well share the gun. Anyhow, how much should I spend on a gun and what's a good type to get?

I don't have any handguns, but I like my Ruger rifle, so I'd recommend a Ruger for a good handgun. It's kinda fun at a firing range - we usually
take our rifles in to line up the sights about once a year.

If I were you, I would talk to your local cop shop to have your questions answered there. Do you live in NJ? If this is the case than your purchase of a gun
will be a lengthy process and more expensive than buying one in say, Texas.
I own several Handguns and my opinion will matter very little to you anyway, so fuck off in advance. |

The police station.
Speak to the officers that handle firearms on their day to day. They will offer you the best advice especially since you live in a very liberal part of the country. Gun selection is personal as I like a .45 .40 and 9mm respectively. Kimber/ Glock / Sig |

I'm better armed than some third world countries.
A Glock or Sig Sauer 9mm is a good choice. Although I prefer my Walther P-38 9mm. |
