yeah. shut up. I'm fine with out extra features. i don't even have cable TV for god's sake. i just want a bigger flat screen for the down stairs so
I can move the one we have now into the bedroom.

We have a 42" LG flatscreen HDTV and it's awesome. It was less than a grand in Canada last year on Boxing Day. You can't go wrong, cable tv or no
cable tv.

That's my point. Wal-Mart associates are even qualified in selling a pair of shoes. What makes you think they will be able to assist you in any issues
(hook-up, technical, or otherwise) with a television.
LG is a good brand that's inexpensive. |

I read on a tech site that the $298 "HP" laptop is a Compaq 60-1xx series with a Celeron Processor. Last year I picked up a CQ50-115 with a Dual Core
Athlon (not "Core 2 Duo" which would have been better) for $399 which has given me good service. The 50-1xx is a simliar box, but the Celeron
processor would definitely make it a tortoise.
There'll be a bunch of good deals with better processors between now and the end of the year. |

There's 2 CQ laptops and an HP laptop in my house right now, purchased in 2005 (XP), 2006 (XP) and 2008 (Vista, referred to above). All three are doing
just fine.
