I'm sorry I briefly agreed with Bitsy today about the who Letterman thing. She was right that it was going to come out sooner or later, and there
wasn't anything special about him apologizing. But then she blew it with the whole abortion debate. She doesn't get it that in this day and age, a
woman and her children should not have to be controlled by the husband/father. No wonder she is such a Republican tool. And she wants to defend 18+ children!
Excuse me, but who exactly is going to pay for those children if the parents don't earn enpugh money or if a woman divorces and lives on welfare!
Obviously, not Bitsy! she plans to get some tax deductions/returns so it won't have to come out of her pocket!.

When they brought the duggers up, it reminded me of the segment on Say Yes to the Dress, when mom and pops dugger brought the whole damn family to the salon to
pick her out a dress to renew their vows in. She wore a man's white t-shirt under all the dresses she tried on, and wouldn't allow any of the sales
people to come in the dressing room til she had it completely on.
It became apparent that it was a given that hubby and a couple of the older sons would be picking the dress out. When one of the sales women told her to pick the one she liked the best, it was her dress and her day, the dugger woman's mouth fell open and she looked at the woman like she was some alien from another planet. It was as if to say, what, me make a decision about anything, that be the menfolk's job. |

I agreed w/ Lis about Letterman too...I HATE it on this show when they refuse to discuss a topic "objectively" for fear of offending a "friend of the View." Ladies face it..your show is a joke regardless, you get worse guests than Tyra...focus on the one thing your show is actually good at-Hot Topics. |

Exactly. It's a million times worse when Barbara is there and especially if she's moderating because she is very quick to switch topics, especially if
things get heated or she's afraid of offending someone. It's better to just let the conversation run its course. Isn't that the point of having
these women with different 'Views'? When Barbara is gone, they don't have that problem so much. But then, everything Barbara does annoys the hell
out of me, so I'm biased.

She did have a semi-say on the dress but her husband sure had a lot of opinions. Like when he's asking her what she wants but really sounds like he's telling her what should be. Creepy but if she don't care then oh well! (This video is their entire participation on the show. The rest is edited out.) |

Hell, here comes bab's wrinkled up old ass out first. whoopi's back, but she still has to come on the show, and squeeze her butt in at the table and
run her mouth and wave her hands all over the place. She and sherri have made the show unwatchable.
I'm gonna try to hang in long enough to see the al gore interview, if I can take it that long. Ivanka trump's face looked like it was frozen after receiving a thousand g forces yesterday. yikes. |

I have been highly critical of Whoopi this season, but good on her and Joy pressing that creepy grinning pastor on his beliefs regarding the gays. They were
awesome and did not let it go... continually asking follow up questions to the point where the entire segment ended with him looking like the true bigot he is.

Yes, I missed that segment, too. I tend to tune the show out pretty quickly anymore and I have not even been able to make it more than about 5 minutes into
the Hot Topics portion before I am doing something else and not paying attention to the show. Between Babs' annoying babbling and Whoopi going into her
Valley Girl speak, I had had enough.

I watched it again. Osteen said he loves everyone and he goes by the scriptures. Then Joy inferred that God made a mistake and wasn't at "his best." I think they actually made God look like the bigot more than they did Osteen. |

Yes, but you don't believe what what coming out of his mouth right? This is a man who has (I am assuming this) had extensive media training. He was being
very careful and saying what he wanted people to hear so he wouldn't get the Prajean treatment. Correct me if I am wrong, did he not admit that he believed
in the biblical viewpoints on homosexuality? H, however, did not go into detail to what that viewoint is. We all know what that viewpoint is.
Again, I only watched it once... but didn't he also get into the whole "what a perfect relationship in the eyes of god is..." or something. That's when they started questioning him on the fact that people do not choose homosexuality and asked him if he though god was making mistakes? Anyway, the guy is creepy and I am sure one day we will find out terrible things about him... like so many big TV preachers before him. |
