U.S. Navy...1977 - 1981. Got to be part of Jimmy Carter's goofiest hostage rescue attempt EVAR!!! What a turd. Of course, we were on station when the
Iranian "students" took the hostages and could have owned the entire freakin' country if Carter had any balls at all. Instead, here we are more
than two decades later, still taking it from the same people we could have shut down. Oh well...
I got out of the military, but still work in the military-industrial complex... Even if you disagree with the conflict, please support the troops. Most of them are very young, very scared, and wish they were ANYWHERE except Iraq or Afghanistan. God love 'em and protect 'em. My son is U.S. Air Force now... |
