I'm surprised no one has likened Russell with Brian H. I think Russell is full of more bravado than Brian who was just 'all business' but it seems
to me to be a similar strategy. Both of them are charged with lieing to their tribemates to engender trust. How did Brian manage to garner the votes in the
end? Who is to say that Russell will not change his tack post merge to ensure he collects the votes?
But as JT4ever points out, Liz and Ashley both seemed to have the trust 'l.ove' and respect for Russell when they left. So maybe he doesn't have to change much in his strategy. Maybe Galu will buy what he is selling.
I still think that the quote Missyae or SU gave us about one of the survivors saying something like 'I'm great playing the game but horrible in front of the jury' will be linked to him. Especially in light of the spoilers about S20.
