I'm curious about the racial references too.
How many gang rapes of black teenage girls have there been in the past year? How many of them have received this level of attention? How many gang rapes of white teenage girls have there been in the past year? How many of them have received this level of attention? Is the booster factor here that there were bystanders who did nothing? Are there any suckster who watch local news who can cite similar cases in the past year? |

Well the media has to cover stuff that we haven't seen. So what would have made the news is no longer covered, and what would have been a national crisis
is no longer covered past the evening news. It kinda just keeps escalating.
I think what has made this one so newsworthy is that it happened at a homecoming dance with police and faculty there. You would think they would be watched pretty well, and something like this couldn't happen for 2.5 hours. That being said, I wonder how long the line was, I wonder if the guy who raped her at 11:45 knew that he was like the 9th guy to do it. I only hope that they somehow got an STD from one of the guys before them, but that the girl managed to not. |

Oh I'm not saying they were, I guess it's incorrect to think there was any rational thought at the time.
But I would think regardless of the circumstances, guys wouldn't be eager to sign up after 2 hours of use. |

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. Richmond was an extremely rough town even in the 60's. A friend of mine was brutally beaten at that school. She
