The only thing that was overtly shocking for Canada's season 2 was Kim grabbing Emanuel's crotch, and I think that was choreographed by Melissa Williams. By scary hip hop, do you mean krump? It's too bad because I agree that Canada has much better hip hop routines. All the kissing on the Canadian show (in all styles of dance) is more offensive to me because I think it's a cop out for the choreographers. That garbage needs to go! Overall, the Americans get much better choreography for their show. I love how all the shows are bringing in guest choreographers from other places (read: Jason G and Sonya need to come to Canada).

Am done with Blake McGrath's Pussycat doll style of choreography. I think that Meatball is seeing the bumping and grinding moves that are very sexual at times in the Canada routines, that would be a bit extreme for the US. There is no reason for House could not to make it to the US version. Other than they have only had choreographed routine per year in Canada, so maybe it is tough to choreograph enough routines. It wasn't the perfect routine, but it was a popular routine and I think the US version could use a few less 'cancer dances' and a few more fun energetic routines like this. But agree overall US still is on top of the majority of the choreography. Nappy Tabs shouldn't do so many routines, just a few of their best would go a lot further.

I'm noticing things that I wouldn't normally notice. Even the so-called banter during the Finale was scripted. And some things may not be part of the conspiracy, but I analyze it to death because I'm so hypervigilant now. It's doing my head in, as the British would say.

That's right; he is supposedly the only one left now. But I don't know how reliable the spoilers are. People seem to be taking them a lot more seriously than the "rumours" that Peter left last week, but you never know...

They probably threw Noelle in there because of last week. Hopefully she danced really, really well, or I will be mad. As for Victor and Bianca both being in the bottom, I really hope that it's the fault of Tyce's choreography (I assume it must have been epically bad to land them both in the B2). Hopefully more people will realize that he sucks. Although, this surprise elimination could just be a plot to get America to vote more next week...

Spoiler [+] So the Broadway dancer Philip is eliminated doing a Tyce Broadway routine? Not surprised he is the one ousted, he just comes across as 'put on', but quite surprised that Bianca is gone. I wonder when they will eliminate a white dancer? Not sure I like this eliminating style, but it is what it is. At least with a vote there was the premise that a popular personality could get by without being in front of the judges for elimination. Actually I don't think it is a stretch that Bianca was weakest female dancer last night. But I really wonder why Noelle got a free pass for a week, and Ariana was let go.

As for the boots, that just pisses me off more. I can see dumping ONE of the tappers if they are that bad, but TWO? At least balance things out and get rid of a contemporary/jazz dancer since there are SO MANY of them this season. I would have liked to see Bianca have a chance with the actual voting to see if she had any support from viewers or not. If Nigel was hoping to gain more viewers with the move to the fall season, he is sure doing everything he can to lose viewers. They should have had done it more like season one. At the end of the performance night, the judges pick their bottom 3 males/females and let America vote on who they want to save of the 6. The next day, they could have held the taped eliminations and just worked it in the following week. At the beginning of the show, Cat could tell us who America voted out, show the brief taped elimination, and then go on with this week's performances. I have really grown to hate this show and I don't know why I continue to punish myself watching it. I guess a small part of me hopes it will get back to its former glory.

Then they do one non-lyrical, and not only does it suck, but the pair who dances it usually ends up in the bottom three. I think they give the lyrical one to the better dancers.
