Usually I never even notice them. Oh, but when they malfunction... that's when I take notice.
Sounds became muffled, all of a sudden. I thought: "is this the Viagra hearing loss they warned about?" Nah, it wasn't that. It was Eustachian tube air pressure and/or mucous flowing about according to the laws of physics or whatever.
It felt as though all kinds of molecules were racing to escape proximity to my brain, which is certainly understandable.
Dizzy, I became. I feared standing up lest I fall and shatter aging hip bones.
Then, POOF! Normalcy again.
This was last week, I just forgot to tell you all about it and I think it's important that you know.
Last night I had this terrible pain in my lower back, near the right kidney. I figured a pulled muscle or something. It's just that it feels more INTERIOR than that. Not a kidney stone, though. The pain was a 4, no big deal. It was worse upon waking today. Maybe a 5 or a 6. So I thought kidney stone again, this time almost for sure.
But... nah. It's better now. And my urine stream is EXCELLENT. My urine is very clear, too. I feel no malaise except my usual malaise.
I'm OK. Don't worry about me.
Wait... what if it's a blood clot?
It MIGHT feel like it's moving.
Fuck.
