I think they're only a waste if you only want to see teams with a legitimate chance of winning - and probably half of the teams cast on this show don't
fall into that category. Mika/Canaan were no more a waste than any oldster or bimbo blonde team. As long as they provide some entertainment before their
inevitable elimination, they're all right in my book. The real wastes of space are the Meghan/Cheynes of the show, who coast through leg after leg without
saying or doing anything remotely interesting, and will undoubtedly make final 3, save some boring, out-of-their-control trouble like a delayed flight.
