Seaguy, I'm fairly certain no one here cared one way or the other if you were a drag queen, female impersonator, tranny, or all of the above.

After we wrapped up production on season 2 of Drag Race, I took a much needed vacation to Georges' ranch in Wyoming. |

Who is in that picture?
Tiger, I was just reading in the newspaper yesterday that Nevada was one of hardest states hit by the economy (we stiill have over 13% unemployment) and that predictions are we may be one of the very last states to see a recovery, so you may be right. I love my closets too much to leave though. So do we have a start date for the née season or what? I'm even ready to see Santino again. |

Interesting that Vegas is failing. Everyone I know here in Vancouver seems to have made a trip to LV this past few months. I guess they are desperate for money
and the deals to go there are too hard to pass by.
Ya Factory, who is that in the picture? Is it just a production crewmemember and letting us know that the show has wrapped? Or is that a possible contestant. Well so far we have Jessica Wild, and I would believe that Hedda Lettuce will also make the show. IF she isn't already too big of a drag personality. Depends if RuPaul wants only unknowns. Drag names are the best aren't they? My favorite drag name from around here is Vivian von Brokenhymen |

ru and his friend george, i guess.
After we wrapped up production on season 2 of Drag Race, I took a much needed vacation to Georges' ranch in Wyoming. The terrain looks exactly like South Africa. As fate would have it, my dear friend Jon and his buddy Jimmy just happened to be passing through Douglas while I was there. http://www.rupaul.com/news/2009_10_01_archive.html |

Wyoming??!! I just watched the Laramie Project with my partner last week, and I would not have thought that Wyoming would be a vacation stop for any gae!
And ya, would have recognized the foot xray if the picture was a bit larger. All I could see was a shape like a Q-tip, and thought maybe it was a foreign object that had been lodged accidentally in a southern orifice. Have been witness to carrots, peeled cucumbers, billiard balls, and still vibrating dildos being retrieved from male and female alike. Although, nothing the size of someone's foot! We can only pray for 2 as gifted as these gals for Season 2. |

Yeah, Ongina's kinda like a gnat. Makes an impression immediately but then you just want it to go away.

LOL - oh, too funny.
Yeah, Vegas is great if you don't want kids - but my husband and I want to have them, so along with 800 other factors, Wisconsin it is. Madison is VERY gay friendly; in fact, having lived in San Fran for a year, I find it to be light years more progressive and accepting than that city. Can not wait for this show to start - didn't even know it existed until a Thanksgiving marathon last year, and stayed up all night watching it with my sister in law. The wine was flowing, and we laughed our asses off. Perfection. |

Best of luck to you and yours in Madison, Tiger. <3 So sorry we did not get to meet in person before you left.
I googled a start date for Season 2 but the closest I could find was "early 2010" which could mean January, February, even March. |

Well, Wisconsin is better than moving to say...Mississippi (sorry to any friends in MS). Wisconsin is a blue state and since you are in a major city, it'll
be great. It's probably a lot like Seattle (before Seattle got too popular). Good luck in your new home!
I love Vegas but I know I could never live there. I'd want to gamble all the time. :) And the heat would drive me nuts. I thought I read awhile back that this show was coming back January 2010, but maybe that was wishful thinking on my part. |

Hey, Tiger. I lived in Madison for 7 years. It's a great place, particularly for marrieds. Just bring warm clothing for those long, long, long Wisconsin
winters. Where it's 75 degrees colder outside than the inside of your refrigerator.
I don't recall ever seeing fabulous drag queens in Madison; however there was a guy who would parade around library mall in a sundress and a big, floppy hat and lipsync to a boombox. Called herself Androgyne von Tusslewitz, if memory serves. |

I like Ongina but my thing with her is that she, to me, isn't really a drag queen. I don't know how to explain it. I think someone on the show said
that she looked like a little boy playing dress up. I guess that's it. I'm not saying she doesn't have a niche. But I think I think her shtick is
sorta stuck on being bald and wearing frilly shit.
