He's so fucking exhausting. And I'm sick of seeing him waddle around the fucking camp thinking up hilaaaarious new insults for his alliance members.

Meaning that they didn't give him a confessional where he contradicts that particular claim. And we do have reason to think he may have been telling the truth about that. Unfortunately, that evidence is now gone from the site. Let's just say it was in a thread now since deleted from LTS. Beefcake wrote:For evidence of this, just check out the insider clip of this week's TC voting. Jaison, once again, says absolutely nothing. (He's soooooo over this whole Survivor thing). Mick says all the right things, bland and inoffensive as always. Natalie says she voted that way because that's what the group wanted. Jeff keeps saying in his blog that she's smart. But I'm just not seeing it. It's like the lights are on, but there's nobody home.

Didn't he brag about how he was going to make them so miserable and now that they are he's bitching that they're gonna cost him a million Another problem is, okay, he's a big character so he's going to get more air time, but even when they have just narrative confessionals about stuff that's going on, they still have to turm to him. He's not even saying anything evil or game-related, but they'll still give us his two cents and nobody elses. |

Oh there is no new Russell love on my part, I just can't accept the CBS version of him being this evil player. I'd enjoy that but they couldn't
actually cast anybody evil, thus precluding this from happening. So I've assumed he was a shit player who made some spiffy comments to the camera. This
still holds true about the comments and I'm not certain what to say about his strategies since his tribe never really won, but he is playing hard and will
make jury.
Beefcake, no I'd just be myself. Or should I say the Sucks version of myself. However, I have no desire to go on Survivor so it's really a moot point. -SJ™ |

JT, what was the evidence that Russell is actually the demon seed of Elmer Gantry? I just assumed that was another huge lie that he came up with, perhaps after hearing Shambo tell him that Laura was the spiritual type. Either way, it was still a brilliant play by Russell to toy with her bible-thumping ways . . . as much as it pains me to use brilliant in the same sentence as Russell except when referring to the glare from his dome.SuperJude wrote: |

I see nothing evil about Russell, he is by far the most interesting character this season. I don't know how his father could be a preacher - I didn't
know Jews could be preachers... He should get all the air time, who do you want to see more of... Dave Balls? I would rather see Kelly but she gets zero air
time.

I've never understood why strategic-minded players are labelled as "villains" by CBS. Survivor isn't real life, it's a game. And everyone
in the game knows that one of the things you need to do is form alliances and lie. Besides that shenanigans on Ep.1, Russell hasn't done anything
"bad". He makes some OTT comments, but he doesn't come off as mean when he says them. Like I said in my earlier post, I think he's hamming it
up for the camera. I can't hold that against him because I would do the exact same thing.
One of the rationales I've heard for casting mactors on Survivor is that they're looking for "characters" and people who are good at displaying their emotions. So I think it's pretty comical that non-mactors like Russell and Shambo have completely stolen the show from the mactors. (And seeing the vids circulating lately of Erik and Amanda just make me hate mactors even more than ever). So in that sense, I'm glad it's the Russell & Shambo Hour instead of the John & Laura Hour or the Mick & Monica Hour. Can you imagine how boring that would be? |

The last thing I'll say about this is that it did not come as a complete surprise to me that religion might be a part of Russell's life. Anyway, the man is playing out his fantasy of being a WWE villain, and people are just refusing to go along with the joke. I mean, haters, when was the last time you saw someone have so much pure, unalloyed, giddy, irrepressible, infectious FUN playing this silly game? Russell FTmfW!

Remember Jeff created a Question & Answer Game that is called,
"How Well Do You Know Your TeamMates"? Asking questions like, "What did Russell do before he came to Survivor"? Or what does Russell's parents do? Russell has told so much BS. that the other Survivor Contestants would get Russells answers wrong because he has done nothing but Lie. That would be a Great Game to Expose Russell's Story Telling. |

Lazy editing, yeah I can go with that one. Let's make SURE we pile on as many Russell quotes as possible so we don't really have to tell any story!
