For those who never saw RW: LA in marathons, when David got kicked out, the cast got to select between 3 guys to replace him. Mark was one of the three but Glenn ended up getting the replacement slot. I swear Im not that old... I saw it in a marathon of RW: LA

I saw that go down live when it aired the first time. I think Mark's personality was more suited for RR anyways. That season of RW was a bit more serious and they already had All-American Aaron in the cast. Can't have two Ken dolls in one house!

Jo flipped her lid when they got chocolate syrup on her bed.

That was a great cast, but not easy on the eyes. (At least the guys) Fun, middle-agey fact: I made the quarter-finals for San Fran season of the Real World. Went out to LA and did interviews and the whole nine. The PA knew I was deeply closeted and wasn't buying my frat guy act at all. Kind of funny, looking back.

It's been so long since I've seen any of those early years Real World or Road Rules shows. I miss them. Real World LA, San Fran and Boston were my favorites. I still have a hard time picturing Rachel living in godforsaken bumfuck Ashland, WI. Sean is the District Attorney up there. Although the Repubs in the Wisconsin are trying to get Sean to run for Congress so maybe Rachel will end up being a Washington wife!
