Without Izzie, George, and only 10% of Meredith, this show has become a refreshing reboot.I like it better with 100% Meredith. And I'd like Izzy back, too. I don't take to new characters too well, unless they stand out like that hot guy that keeps getting posted on every page.

I don't care for the new people but less Meredith and no Izzie leaves more room for more Arizona and Callie and Mark and Lexie which is cool with me.

Christina is great too. I'm not loving the Hunt/Christina thing like a lot of other people but I love Christina on her own.

I miss Izzie. But I love sassy pixie girl & hot new guy posted on the other page.
Meredith & McDreamy are being all wierd now. They act like they've been married 30 years. It was refreshing to see him crawl up in her bed & snuggle. |

I'm glad we don't have to put up with Izzy's sanctimonious speeches for the past few episodes. Once she used Meredith's near death experience
(drowning) to tell George he made a mistake marrying Callie, I was over her.

Yeah, Izzy was one of my faves in the beginning, but then they turned into a sanctimonious self-righteous cuntress who thought the universe revolved around
her, and I hoped for her death.

Izzie's character has started to reflect Katherine Heigl's real personality so much its fucking scary. Her aforementioned sanctimonious speeches are
super annoying.
A lot of the characters make speeches but none of them are as ridiculous and annoying as Izzie's. Most people's are way better (see Arizona and Bailey). |

In general, I'm not a fan of the speeches. There are a few that work for me (like Arizona's speech to Callie's dad), but for the most part
they're so cliche riddled that I end up getting a headache from rolling my eyes so much, lol.

Arizona's speeches <3 I like them because they're the exact opposite of the cliche riddled crap you mentioned, at least imo.
Derek's and the Chief's are usually the worst for me. |

i watched some old episodes and it reminded me how good heigl used to be on this show. i think she stilll could be, but anyone that thinks she's staying
after this season is deluding themselves.
having said that, out of the new docs, i only like pixie doc. frankly, that dude that everyone is drooling over has almost no personality and is a boring amalgamation of alex and christina. we already have two douchebags who think they are god's gift to surgery and everyone else (and i mean that in the nicest way towards alex and christina). we really don't need another. it's sad seeing what christina was doing in season 2 with burke as far as surgeries and just how far she has devolved. ugh. oh and her mother came when she had the miscarriage. and she was hilarious. of all the family members, i was surprised they didn't find a way to bring her back. 10000x better than george's boring family. |

I like George's mom. His brothers are just meat heads but the episodes around George's father were great. The one where George's dad dies is one of
my top, omfg why am I am crying my eyes out over a tv show episodes of Grey's.

Some speeches I love:
The Bailey "how it affects MY day" speech. SO epic. All of Bailey's speeches are great. The Meredith "pick me" speech. Overrated, but still good. The Izzie Bethany Whisper speech. You know, when she was good. And I'm sure there were some good ones in the bomb episode. Christina Ricci gave a good one, I think. |

All of Bailey's speeches are awesome.
The Izzie Bethany Whisper speech was good too, back before Izzie became so ridiculous. I'm partial to the more recent Arizona speeches, the one to Callie's dad, the "my father/lesbian" one and the "who am I" one to Callie after she bitched her out for supporting O'Malley's decision. |

How is Jackson like Christina? He's actually her polar opposite--he's the football jock of surgery. (She's the nerd) Kind of how they originally wanted Alex to be before they emasculated him. |

I think the worst speech has to be in Season 3 when Meredith is dying and Izzie gives this I believe speech about Rainbows and Ice cream that went on forever.
