I don't get it. You move to France to live in one of the most amazing cities in the world. Yet you continue to post in this Hell-hole day and night instead of immersing yourself in a cultutre far more intersting than yours. I might have missed something. Please enlighten me. |

First off, shit actually closes down in Europe. Want to go somewhere on Sunday? Forgetaboutit. I remember trying to get a hamburger from Burger King in

The French are not terribly fond of Americans from my experience.
CBR just got there and is integrating herself with the area, neighborhood, restaurants, co-workers, etc. Feeling comfortable in a new place takes time. (any place, yet alone another country.) I imagine that it is a bit of an adjustment, so posting at OT where she has folks that she is used to corresponding with,does not seem strange to me at all. You, however, seem "strange". |

McDonald's in Germany gave us teeny, tiny little devil forks to spear our "pommes frits" (french fries). They also asked if we wanted Mayonaise
or ketchup with them.
