I know difference of opinions and all, but I can't possibly see how anyone could think that Cook Islands or Fiji were good seasons.
They were such a pain to get through the first time, I couldn't bare to watch them again. |

Cook Islands and Fiji had a couple of episodes each that are worth re-watching, but well....two episodes doesn't make a season great.

I'd rewatch them all probably, but the lowest on my list would have to be Cooks and Fiji.

Vanuatu was actually an enjoyable season...certainly better than Exile Island and Cook Islands and especially Fiji.

I have no desire to fully rewatch any season after 8, and 11 is the absolute cut-off for there being any rewatch value. Starting with S12, the editing started
to mainly focus on basic overarching themes and drilled them into the audience week after week (like with the recaps going back to episode one post-merge
 ). I can still watch any of the early seasons and notice something new each time. They're fully fleshed-out epics. It doesn't mean the new
seasons aren't necessarily "enjoyable", it's just that it's a completely different scope. I've learned to enjoy the current show
more by trying to appreciate it for what it is.

I'm an optimist when it comes to Survivor. There may be good and bad things about each season, but instead of finding the negative reasons that will keep
me from watching them again, I go for the positive.

Only Fiji. I can re-watch any of the other ones. Some are better/worse the second time even.

Samoa. Simply Samoa. I can still get through Fiji (except the final TC) and the other seventeen I can rewatch, but not Samoa. It's painful to watch as it
is right now.
