Abed was awesome as Batman.
I havent watched this show since it aired and just recently caught up online. So glad I did. I felt like this episode was the best one yet. Loved all the costumes and especially Batman saving the Beast Master and Jedediah - followed by the voice over Batman ending! "Am I a bird, no - I am a bat. I am Batman, or am I? Yes, I am Batman. Happy Halloween!" I like it when the official ending is Abed and Troy + tomfoolery ;) |

He was fantastic as Batman, especially that monologue. All their costumes were great. Everyone mistaking Shirley's costme was funny. The drug trip delusiopns were just brilliant. But the best part was Abed pulling them away form the collapsing fort. I died laughing. |

I'll be redundant, Abed as Batman owned over all. Saving Joel and Chevy from the desk collapse + the monologue was made of win. The close with Troy at the
end was also hysterical. I think those two closing out each episode may be my favorite thing on TV right now.
Chevy was a champ all throughout- "well I do have a young black friend" was so funny. I also like that they are developing each character in very real ways while being able to balance all the over the top humor. Hard to do, but they are really pulling it off. For as much as I like Modern Family and Glee, I look forward to this over any other new show. So glad we will at least get 1 full year in. |

I noticed the ratings for Community were up significantly this week -- it did better than Parks & Rec and almost as good as NBC's pet, 30 Rock. (Of
course, baseball killed every other show).
Maybe a second season isn't impossible??? |

As funny as Chevy Chase's character getting high was, the other guy's "What'd he give me? My heart stopped racing and I can't pee!"
was my favorite line of the night.

My first time watching it this week. Chevy as Beastmaster...funniest thing I've seen on tv in a LONG time. My new fave comedy.
I don't get all the raving over Modern Family. Second rate Office rip off, and really not as funny as everyone claims it is. |
