I just have never heard of that educational discipline before. I mean do you study the hormone processes in conjunction to the nerves? If you could explain that would be lovely because I am obviously ignorant. I just might add I am neither a high school drop out or someone who attends a substandard community college. And the whole gay uncle scenario. There has been on evidence that homosexual men stayed around to help rear their siblings offspring, or being gay helped in passing along genes. Usually they had estranged family relations that did not help their inclusive fitness. Evolutionary Psychology is a great course, I would recommend it to anyone who can take it. Richard Dawkin's The Selfish Gene is also a great read. Anyways, I thought this thread was all about calling the Mo Brothers out. Lets get back on topic, puhlease.

Posts: 7519 (10/20/09 6:58 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I don't pretend to know anything about genes or statistics or anything like that, but on the topic of bisexuality: I know several men and women who claim to be bisexual but have been in long-term relationships with members of the opposite sex and never members of the same sex. If you're someone who can have sex with the opposite-sex and have relationships with the opposite-sex, I don't know why you'd claim to be bisexual if you aren't. One thing I do know is that if a guy's ring finger is longer than his pointer finger it means he's gay, it's a fact. I saw it on The L Word.

Lets get back on topic, puhlease. the ego thing is all an act i dont really have one. anyway most colleges offer students a chance to design their own major. its quite common actually. yes i study hormones and nerves. i have several rats, that i treat well by the way. i also have my own rhesus monkey named mac, who i work with on cognitive skills. it is an actual major despite what you think. and i reccomend the selfish gene as well, great book. so is another book he wrote called "the god delusion" which i like even more. No, if a person says she/he's a bisexual that person is just denying that she/he is a gay person. What's the point of denying that someone is gay that would be any different than someone saying their bisexual? At least with gay people there aren't as many people like you and Riliss who are saying that there's no such thing. Sometimes I just say I'm gay to avoid stuff like that.

I don't think it's as common as people make it out to be, but I can't reconcile that it simply doesn't exist. Not even gender and gender identity are 100% black and white. There are people with six fingers on one hand, people with heterochromia, people with extra nipples. Variants exist in everything. Why not this? ETA: Even if you are correct and there is no such thing as bisexuality, who are we to tell people not to identify as such? Doesn't that make us as bad as the so-called "moral majorities" that have oppressed us (as atheists) for centuries?

Sometimes I will look at a man and lick my lips at what I see but I am way more attracted to females and would never actually pursue a relationship with a man mainly because I am so attracted to females...I might just be really horny. So those genes that lead to non-gay carriers have the edge over genes that lead to gay carriers. Remember that the only purpose for genes is to spread.
