I can sympathize if someone has a legitimate fear/phobia of something, and I understand how impossible it can be to do something when you're truly afraid. However... if your fear is water in every way, shape and form, why the hell would you go on the Amazing Race like that? Take some swimming lessons! You don't have to become Michael Phelps (half the time you're in a life vest anyway) but at least get to the point where you can GET INTO the water. Has there ever been a season where there was no swimming/water task at all? (Of course I wouldn't expect stunt-casted mactors to know anything about the history of the show, but it just seems like common sense.)

But.....that gold task was fucking lame. Of course Maria and Tiffany could do it. It's 3rd grade division, and even easier with a calculator. What the fuck is so hard about calculating an exhange rate, dividing it by the cost of gold per ounce, then counting out the number of coins needed? I thought it was one of the more lame challenges TAR has had.

The challenge was that it changed really quickly, so you had to count out all the little pieces before it changed on you again. I don't think it was as lame as disassembling VCR's with power screwdrivers or walking like a monkey.
