Shinji Mimura (cardswin5): 5th Place Yeah, once we got down to the final 5, really, I was kinda pissed and basically desperate for a reason to root for anyone who was left. Shinji was someone I rooted for, just because I thought it'd be cool for cardswin to make the jury for his first time, only to make it to the finals and win, and STILL never have sat on the jury. Early on, Shinji annoyed me because he basically got into a power group without really doing anything. He was kinda inactive, and turned out to be a massive prick towards Kid, who everyone loved. And when Shinji got pissed at Kid after Kid got voted out, it even caused outrage among several of Shinji's tribemates, which was hilarious to me. But as I mentioned before, cardswin finally made it to the jury in a game, so this was a big accomplishment. There were just ten other players who I preferred to him, mainly because they didn't annoy me as much with inactivity or dickishness.

Takako Chigusa (thailandsurvivor): 9th Place This write-up hurts my heart, because as you all know, I love Takako the character so very, very much. She's just so wonderfully amazing. And I'm not saying thaisu was a bad player or anything. Him taking the leadership position and then turning into a badass HBIC was really cool until he took out Kazushi, who was too fucking awesome to go out like that. Basically, Takako was the season's post-whore, moreso than Will, even. And I tried my best to draw out some interesting confessionals from her. And Takako was a really great player. The problem was that, as I've said, Takako was a lot like Marcus (although I said that to annoy thaisu). She was a leader, and she was an important part of the season, but overall, she wasn't that interesting as a character. I'm not saying you need to be OTT every episode, but a little variety would be nice once in a while. And she was the first boot and still voted for boring Yukie to win the game, sadly. Still, enough to get into my top ten for the season.
