I enjoy the cheese of it, but last night (I actually saw an ep on TV, amazing!), the ending really surprised me. I don't know, I guess I figured they'd
keep the eye candy around forever, even though he was boring.

yea its missing a cable vibe. Like it could be so much better if it gets to go ALL the way to the edges.
I was surprised they killed off Chad so soon. Maybe one of the girls can reverse time and go back and "save" him or something. Or maybe they replaced his character with his little brother dating Mia now. Either way - sad to see Kyle XY leave another show. Love him! You can tell this show won't last and it breaks my heart. I really wanted it to do better.

They're making the show too lite/comedy-heavy when it could be sooo much darker and edgier. Seriously, the actors aren't the problem - the women
they have playing the leads are great - it's just the crappy writing. The ladies can only do so much if the writing is poor!

I agree- the acting and cast they put together is very, very good. And the premise is good too--i'm surprised how it transferred so well onto television. I
feel if ABC cans it, another network could do a lot with it...For some reason though, I just have this vibe that lifetime may try and pick it up...which could
be very very bad...but hell, it could actually be better that way! I kinda like that it's lighthearted and fluffy though...

I guess I only have a problem with the lightheartened/flullyness because the original movie, while still being comedic at times, still had a dark tone to it.
I'm also reading the book too, and it's A LOT darker then the movie and the show. |

This is actually one of the very few one-hour shows I make the time to watch. Admittedly I watch it mainly because I <3 Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman.
