I'm in love with the fan with the food tray in his left hand and flipping Utley off with his right!!
While others were scrambling to get the ball he is waving his middle finger <3 |

His ho hom expression was priceless.
If Uncle Cholly pulls Lee now for Lidge, I wonder if the town will burn down? |

Dammit Phillies. I wanted the first Game 1 shut out of the Yankees in a WS ever.

I don't think even the most ardent Philly fans were realistically expecting a near-shutout.
I still see the Yankees pulling out the balance though. |

This is a perfect set-up for the Phillies. Because now, NY is going to be feeling the pressure and going aggressive against Pedro. And that's exactly when
the fucker can really pick you apart, if he's got his shit together.

What a gem by Cliff Lee!
A complete game and zero earned runs. I love this guy! And the nonchalant way he pitches (or catches a ball!), or the way he comes off the mound after winning a complete game... it's pure savoir-faire, as if, "It's what I do." What on earth was Cleveland doing, getting rid of Lee to the Phillies and Sabatha to the Yankees? I predicted the Phillies in 6. I'm beginning to think now, the Phillies in 5. Pedro Martinez returns to Yankee stadium tomorrow, and he'll be on a mission. Phillies will go back to Phillyland this weekend, up 2-nothing. And Lee will pitch again. Bad moon rising for the Yankees. |
