I sort of agree with your observation, but on the other hand, I really do enjoy taking long hard looks at Brett, Erik, John, and Mick! Out of all the blonde mactor type women, Natalie is my favorite and I actually like her enough to be okay with a win. However, I am going with the flock and picking Mick. He is quite attractive. Maybe he was not asked to be on Survivor 20 because of his medical duties back home, thus Russell, being a finalist and totally more of an interesting and polarizing personality gets picked. Yul was bland like Mick, but he did completely dominate Aitu and make the decisions. Mick is a follower on Foa Foa. He definitely seems to have Ethan's strategy of being the bland nice guy next to Russell's domineering strategist. Tom was neither bland, nor was he second fiddle to anyone, so I don't think he's Mick-like either. Simply being athletic men does not mean they are going to have the same type of game-play or the same characterization.

I agree with this. I especially enjoy looking at Mick, Brett and Erik...yum! :p My favorite woman in the game right now is Liz. I haven't seen enough of the women on Galu to get a really good characterization...I get the feeling that the women on this tribe (Laura, Monica and Kelly) are being edited as the "Mean Girls" vs. Shannon. In his pre-game interview, Mick talked about having medical board exams as soon as he got back from Samoa so yeah, his obligations at Cedars-Saini outweigh an invitation to play Survivor again. In fact, he had to really finagle it just to get the time off to even be on the show period.
