Or maybe why dont they just add an extra episode. On other version of survivor, there was a season that was 45 days.

If they want to have back up people but still keep genders even, they should just do 3 tribes of 6.
I've given up hope on ever getting 4 tribes of 4 for any length of time. Probably because there's a hatred towards ties for some bizarre reason. |

Paris Hilton wrote:Seriously, the Mike/Bruce/Joe evacuations were some of the best episodes of their season (although in Joe's case the evacuation itself wasn't dramatic at all; but the lack of a TC after all that scrambling was the perfect ending for that episode). They've managed to create some great episodes that didn't end with Tribal Council; 16 people with one episode that doesn't end with a TC >>>>>>> 20 people with two or three episodes where multiple people leave. It doesn't make any sense to bank on people quitting/getting evacuated. If production prefers 16, they can make it work. I really don't get why they would ever go with 20 if that's the case. (Besides, 16 increases the odds of F2 which is ultimately all that matters) |

They should've gone into 3 tribes at 15 or 18 and then the two tribes that lose the IC go to tribal council. Pretty simple.
Either that or they could just reduce the cast back to 16 permanently. 16 people seasons have managed to work their way around quitters in the past, so why can't they now? Still a way better option than over-casting just in case someone might just quit / injure themselves. Plus then we get less under-edited people and more likely a final 2. We certainly win as it solves most of the problems we've been complaining about. Then they just need to completely scrap the idol and never bring exile back. Ever. |

Sorry, but what the fuck does he mean by "wiggle room"?! There's no telling when or even IF somebody might quit or get med-evaced.

Just don't ever do the bottle twist thing again where the losing tribe votes out 2 people. Total bullshit putting that all on a single challenge if you ask
me. One of 139398393150938139383 reasons that season sucked so much.

Instead of allowing for "wiggle room" for quitters, how about stop casting recruits who don't badly want to be there and are likely to quit?

Because people who really want to be there can still get medically evacuated.

Did anyone else feel she got screwed? Don't get me wrong, I was glad to her ass go, but it would have been better had she lost fair and square instead of by some last minute new twist. |

They can still make a good character development with 20 people if the editors know how to do their Job right.
